biography

Alexandra Haukaas has worked as a logistics professional in freight forwarding and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier services for over 30 years, and has most recently found continued success as General Manager, Freight Operations, at PCB Global Trade Management.

With a solid academic background, having attended both the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Simon Fraser University, she brings foundational learning to her tenured experience in the industry. During her academic career, she earned her CIFFA and FITT designations, which, together, launched her career as an air freight coordinator, overseeing warehousing operations and all modes of transportation, including air, ocean, rail, truck, and project cargo.

In addition to her freight-related qualifications, Alexandra Haukaas's experience in business development and project management has greatly deepened her understanding of transportation rules and regulations. In her capacity as General Manager at PCB Freight Management, she ensures that all cargo under her jurisdiction reaches its destination efficiently and effectively while balancing the demands of managing hundreds of clients and carriers who work with PCB Freight Management every day.

She was awarded an award for corporate leadership in 2022 from the Surrey Board of Trade for her work in logistics during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has proven herself to be a trusted leader and an exceptional communicator with an impeccable reputation for accuracy and diligence in the industry.

No two days are the same in the world of freight management, but Alexandra Haukaas rises to the challenge again and again, working alongside her team of freight professionals to deliver quality transportation services to clients domestically and internationally.
