Tracey Mitchell is PCB’s Canadian Operations Manager. She holds a vital role at PCB as a communicator, administrator, and leader. A graduate of the University of British Columbia and recipient of both the George Kuhn Award for Excellence and the Achievement Award from British Airways World Cargo for CIFFA’s Advanced Certificate, Tracey stands out as a lifelong learner. She has earned numerous accreditations and designations since first beginning at PCB, including her CCS, CTCS, CBSA Professional Designation, and CIFFA certificates.
This love of personal growth has decorated her entire career and extends to her team as well. Tracey is one of PCB’s professional development program’s most involved organizers and among its staunchest advocates.
Joining PCB in 2006, Tracey began her career in customs brokerage and, over the years, fell in love with the people, variety, and fast-paced nature of international trade. With a gift for patience and understanding, she thrived, aiding her clients and fellow employees with knowledge and compassion through every challenge and struggle. Ultimately, she rose to a position on the leadership team, where she now facilitates cross-departmental communication, cohesion, and growth.
Day to day, Tracey keeps the people and departments of PCB moving in the same direction. She is a professional cohort, a resource for communication and collaboration across departments, and a standard-bearer at the heart of PCB’s day-to-day operations. At home, Tracey is a mother, a reader, a world traveler, and an avid golfer - even holding a position on the winning team at one of PCB’s annual “Glenn Todd Classic” golf tournaments. She counts her team’s victory among the many designations she’s earned during her time here, and one she is very excited to renew every year.
