The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced the initiation of investigations under the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA) with respect to the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of truck and bus tires originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China.

The CBSA will make preliminary decisions within 90 days, at which time provisional duties may apply to imports of these subject goods.
