As previously detailed in our Sept. 9th, 2026 post, the US Government has introduced three import exclusions/bans that enter into effect at 12:01 AM EST / 9:01 AM PST on September 29.
As a reminder, those exclusions cover three categories:
With the implementation of the above proclamations, the US Government has also released the relevant annexes with the complete list of affected goods. Importers are encouraged to work closely with their broker to ensure their goods are not listed in these annexes before attempting to import.
Goods entered into a bonded warehouse or admitted into a foreign trade zone before the exclusion takes effect may be withdrawn for consumption and subject to a 50% ad valorem duty.
Additionally, any entries filed in ACE which contain goods noted in these annexes will be canceled as of September 29, 2026 at 12:01 AM EST / 9:01 AM PST.
